I'm sure you've all noticed that updates have been a little sporadic, and the current episode is at least three weeks behind schedule. The last four months have been insane. But it's almost over.

My partner and I will be celebrating our 25th Anniversary on Friday, April 22nd as we finally get to tie the knot and technically reaffirm our  vows in holy and legal matrimony!

This incredible life-event will change everything in ways we can't really predict yet, but we have been through all the trials and tribulations of being told we can't visit our partner in the hospital because we're not "family", dealing with checking and other legal transactions, and so forth. So a few years ago we had to see an attorney to name each other as legal guardians and advocates, never dreaming that on June 26, 2015 the Supreme Court would finally make possible for us what so many others take for granted.

Those gracious, wonderful ladies who run the historic Brown-Pusey house and steward its museum and library were sweet and accommodating, and so helpful in getting us set up to use this locale as our wedding venue. This has amounted to many months of planning and hard work. Neither of us had ever planned a wedding before, and we hope we don't pass out after the toast!

When the dust dies down I will be right back here. I have several episodes of A Deviant Mind to finish this year along with illustrating the first volume of House of the Muses and getting every bit of it off to print.

Thank you all for sticking with me through thick and thin. And I hope that our next 25 years together are going to be a wonderful ride. 🙂
