GEARING UP FOR CHRISTMAS

A SPECIAL PROJECT FOR SULLIVAN UNIVERSITY SYSTEM ALUMNI
TO SUPPORT MOM’S CLOSET | LOUISVILLE, KY
At Sullivan University, our alumni affairs office prides itself in working with local charities such as Mom’s Closet, Family Scholar House and Wayside Christian Mission in Louisville and One Parent Scholar House in Lexington.

We recently received the Gearing Up for Christmas Flyer from Mom’s Closet indicating that they have specific needs for this Christmas Season. After careful consideration of their request, I felt that I would like to reach out to our alumni with the thought that maybe you would be interested in making the Christmas season a little easier for Mom’s Closet and the women, men and children that they serve. Mom’s Closet's greatest need is for their client base to be able to purchase fresh fruits, vegetables, milk, bread and other items that cannot be carried in the pantry because they are perishable. Due to a limited income base, most of the clients and their children will go without these life necessities. Mom’s Closet has indicated that a $20 gift card from Kroger would provide the items listed above to fulfill a need they cannot handle. This is how their clients access the nonperishable items.

Starting Monday, November 9, I am launching the Mom’s Closet – Gearing up for Christmas outreach program for alumni of The Sullivan University System. You can be a part of this outreach by purchasing a $20 Kroger Gift card. You can mail your Kroger Gift Card to: Nicole Goodin, 2100 Gardiner Lane, Louisville, KY 40205 or you can drop it off at 2100 Gardiner Lane, Suite 117, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily. The deadline for the gift cards is December 9.
